I agree to provide my own motorcycle, which will be in proper and legal working order without safety issues of wear or damage, including but not limited to tires, brakes, lighting and horn. I further attest that I will present said vehicle for cursory inspection by MCTA staff before beginning tour and will provide proof of current registration and vehicle insurance coverage showing, at a minimum, Auto Liability, Collision and Comprehensive coverage.

MCTA reserves the right to adjust the itinerary to accommodate events beyond our control. MCTA cannot be held responsible for voluntary tour cancellations, including associated costs for any and all travel expenses incurred by the registrant. Additionally, MCTA cannot be held liable for theft or loss of any personal property.

In the event that MCTA incurs any participant costs including, but not limited to, motorcycle recovery, safe keeping and repair, I am responsible for compensating MCTA for any monies spent on my motorcycle on my behalf.

I understand that this tour will be through states that have mandatory helmet laws. MCTA is not in the business of enforcement but will expect that all such laws are followed and strongly recommends that a helmet be worn for safety at all times. Refusal to obey state laws and/or rules of the tour may result in my removal from the tour by the organizers and no monies will be refunded to me for such removal.

I understand that MCTA prohibits tour participants from consuming alcohol, using illegal drugs or otherwise participating impaired during any ride day. Having a drink or two at the end of the day is fine, but we encourage riders to not ‘overindulge’. Anyone found to have consumed alcohol or illegal drugs prior to or during any day’s ride will be prohibited from participating in the remainder of the tour. MCTA reserves the right to remove any participant if we believe or suspect the rider is under the influence or impaired at any time. MCTA reserves the right to remove any tour participant, at any time, for conduct that threatens the safety or enjoyment of other tour participants.
